Jean-Gabriel Domergue was a french painter and known to be "the inventor of Pin-Ups", painted a lot of portraits of Parisian ladies in the 20's. Like it says on his Bio, "Domergue invented a new type of woman : thin, airy, elegant, with a swanlike neck and wide seductive eyes which gaze upon the world with longing", the ultimate Pin-Up. I honestly didn't know him but is amazing to learn where big icons are born, and their predecessors.

The portraits are so soft, seductive and so elegant the women look so chic as well as their nakedness.

  It looks so Chanel
