Tom Ford is known for shocking the fashion world with his striking "politically incorrect" images (for Gucci and for his own brand) together with Carine Roitfeld and Mario Testino the Porno Chic revolutionized the visual appeal in the 90's and 00's. This "visual movement" has been going on since Helmut Newton started it in the 70's but gained explosive proportion with Mr. Tom Ford.
I heard that a few people thought it was over. But I think is pretty clear that after his come back this "trend" is more present than ever.
