LOOKING INTO THE PAST FUTURE

I saw today on TrendLand's website this photo shoot for a Splash Fashion Calendar, I love the bright colors and the "fakeness" to it.
It is definitely a nice way to remember the old futuristic movies.

LET'S MAKE IT A TREND

90's BackPack

ERIN PLAYING FASHION

This is a very cool photo shoot that I had the pleasure to assist the stylist. Is the new issue of Playing Fashion magazine shot by Jeon Seung Hwan and styled by Yasuhiro Takehisa. Nothing better than Erin O'connor on the cover wearing Prada right?

The inside pictures are as good as this one and I must say I particularly love the one with the green Marios Schwab coat.

MOTHERLAND INSPIRED

This Ad is really impressive and very poetic to me, maybe because of the scenery. But is the ultimate meaning of "keep walking". Is it actually also a brazilian motto - not quite using these words but the idea of not giving up.

PASQUALITO!!

Marlene Dietrich is the queen of style on her 1930's film "The Devil is a Woman" so elegant and still so creative and forward. Everything from clothes, accessories to hair, make up and of course attitude.

The film is so fun and fabulous here is the trailer.

TARSEM DID IT AGAIN

The movie "Immortal" was released in november and is a production by the same producers of the movie "300", has that same greek dark mythologic punch to it.
But when this is assembled with amazing Director Tarsem Singh  and fantastic Costume Designer Eiko Ishioka the outcome is dream like, huge budget creation!

Here is a clip from the film and some photos of the beautiful landscapes and super creative costumes.

HOW A WOMAN SEES A WOMAN

Lisa Yuskavage is a contemporary American painter and her paintings are focused on the female body.

It is really wonderful how she designs the bodies, they are so perfect with their imperfections - breasts hanging and the big hips or thick thighs - she makes these characters so sensual and even if they are bare naked they look so mysterious, intense.

These bodies are clearly a woman's point of view.

If these paintings were photos....
