Loved the foulard shoes from D&G for S/S 2012

These ones from this site, not D&G.

Watched the other day the new movie "Drive" with Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, really liked it! I saw the trailer and was waiting for a typical action movie with race cars BUT this guy doesn't choose movies that are that simple. Ryan likes the more misfit kind of personality for his characters and the director, Nicolas Winding Refn, knew how to make this movie right in between Hollywood action and alternative film. However the things that caught my attention and made me appreciate the movie even more was the soundtrack, gave the movie the right tone. And made it cooler that typical hard rock songs for action scenes.

The songs are in between 80's, 90's and a little Daft Punk.

Here you can check out the soundtrack and list with songs:

Daphne Guinness is someone to be jealous of. Not only because she has the means to afford AMAZING fashion but because she actually does it! She were the most outrageous pieces and for someone who works with fashion that is just what I look for, what I love to see. Put them in good use after the fashion shows are over. Other than that she is inspirational, always involved with art and making her clothes part of it. What more can I say, other than she was the one to buy Isabella Blow's wardrobe for auction to preserve it!

That is enough I think here it is: Daphne Guinness

Want to know more about Isabella Blow, dear friend to Alexander McQueen, and the first one to buy his collections right out of school. She was the queen of hats and outrageous fashion before Daphne, or Lady Gaga, or whatever. She was a fashion editor and still today a fashion icon.

Have you ever imagine how a pixelated TV screen with some tropical plants would look? No? Basso & Brooke did.
This is their 2012 S/S collection. I liked the combination, kind of new to my eyes. What I like about the prints it is not just simple tropical images of plants and flowers but they are more psychedelic which relates well with the dots. Love the placement of the prints, creating cuts and shapes, a sartorial trompe l'oeil. Smart abstract.

What you guys think?
